Professor Dr. Gloria Barksdale is currently completing her Ed.D. in Administrator Leadership for Teaching and Learning by December, 2015 from Walden University in Baltimore, MD and is receiving an honorary doctorate in humane letters and chaplaincy from the (CICA) Canadian International Chaplaincy Association in June 2015. She holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Secondary Curriculum & Instruction & a Master’s Degree endorsement in Administration and Supervision from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA. Over the past 15 years, she has also acquired 16 Information Technology Certifications including those of Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI), Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), Microsoft Office 2013/2010/2007 Specialist, Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows Server 2012~installing, configuring, administering, network setups) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (Windows NT), Microsoft Office Master Instructor (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher), and an A+  Service Technician (PC repairs, ugrades and troubleshooting),  SharePoint Administrator and Security+. For 25 years, Ms. Barksdale has taught English, Business Education and technology courses for middle and high school, community college, prison inmates and is currently a self-employed ABE/GED instructor and part-time college professor. Ms. Barksdale is CEO/Founder of a 100% woman, minority-owned SBA 8(a) Company, Faith Technologies & Training, Inc.  and a Project MOTHER, a 501(c)3 that has been in existence since 1996. She has served clients in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida with her skills and talents.
